HOLA Jason! Welcome Home!

Elder Cherry is home!

December 22, 2008 at about 3:35pm a plane landed in the Salt Lake City airport with someone that was coming home aboard. We had been waiting for 2 years to see our cousin, son, grandson, and brother come off that plane having served a full time mission in Tijuana Mexico for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Before We went to the airport everyone had to get ready. When Jason left Kylee and him were best buds. She has changed a lot since he left so we had to make sure she looked cute. :) Kylee and I had a fun little pampering session. :) She is so stinkin' cute!

(Pose!) ha ha!

What a cutie!(Kylee didn't have much hair when Jason left so we had to show off some pretty curls)

After we picked Jason up from the airport, Nick and I decided to stop at Ikia to take look around while we were out that way. :) We found out they have a restaurant there! Maybe we are just WAY behind but we had NO idea! It was about time for dinner so we decided to stop and grab something there! It was SO good! We definitely recommend it!

(we even got a slice of cake to share! Yummy!)

After dinner we went back home and chatted with Jason for a while. Its so fun to have him home, hear all the stories he has to tell, and see how much he has grown from his mission. My little brothers have great examples to follow. I hope they one day will follow the example of their Dad, Uncle, Cousins, and Nick and choose to be called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Welcome Home Jason, and thank you for your hard work and example!

YEAH for Jason coming home!!

Oh, and Ikea is like one of my very favorite places to eat. I LOVE the meatballs and I usually have an Ikea candy bar in purse - just in case of Chocolate emergencies. :)
