Happy Mothers Day

For mothers Day this year Kira made me the cutest ceramic flower pot that was covered in pictures of kinley an Mila and then she filled it with my favorite flowers.  Gerber daises.   I put it on our kitchen table that evening when we got home and was 100% determined to keep the pretty things alive.  Heaven knows I have the opposite of a green thumb. :)  The next morning I woke up to bright pink petals all over the floor. and Kinley at the kitchen table.  EVERY SINGLE flower had been picked off and she was plucking each petal off just like she had seen in The Little Mermaid . haha.  Note to self.  Put the potted plants higher next year. :) 

Game Over?

The person that came up with Marriage = Game over obviously was not married to my Mr. 

The fun is JUST beginning! 

Just wait 50 years from now....

this will be us.  Just wait you will see.  Knee pads and all. :D

Miss Mess(ies)

I dont know what it is about Mila and eating but no matter how hard we try to keep her clean when we feed her it just doesnt happen.  She loves her baby food.  In the last 10 months there has only been 1 that she refuses to eat and that is green beans.   Peaches also give her an upset little tummy but other than that she has been such a great eater.

While we are on the topic of food Kinley while picky LOVES LOVES LOVES cereal. One morning she woke up and we got dressed.  I obviously didn't get her breakfast fast enough because I walked out to the kitchen to find this...

What am I going to do with these girls? :)

Picky, Picky, Picky

Kinley didnt used to be a very picky eater... remember this? 

Yeah..... see not picky. 

However, as she has grown up she has become very picky.  She LOVES anything with Cheese, Typically noodles, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, fishy cracker and hot dogs.  The typical kids stuff. Looking at that list just makes me think that I am raising the most unhealthy child on the planet!  However, the one redeeming food she will eat FRUIT!  And lots of it!  This girl could eat a blackberry/raspberry bush FULL of berries, a full strawberry patch,and all the pineapple in Hawaii. :)  

 Here she is enjoying a nice big bowl of strawberries and Milk.

 P.s.  She doesn't eat lemons like orange slices anymore, so that gives me hope that maybe one day she will have some amount of eating sense. :)

Built in Best Friend

I know the first picture is a little blurry but, I just have to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the girls play with each other.  Even when I am having the most frustrating days with them I cannot help but smile when I can hear laughs coming from a room and go in to find Kinley and Mila playing together happily.
