Hey Look! Flowers! Yay!

Another post by Nick....

So on December 14th Kate and I celebrated our 1st anniversary. Some of the things brought to mind when you think of anniversaries are presents, a small vacation, and just spending time with eachother and remembering why you got married in the first place. We decided to go up to park city and rent a.. Holy crap flowers.. I FORGOT FLOWERS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Okay.. So not quite like that.. True, I didn't give kate flowers on our anniversary, but theres a good reason for it. On the morning that we left I thought I would get her flowers, but it was only the 12th.. Not the 14th.. So thats not as cool, so I was like "Hey, I'll just run to the store alone, and bring back flowers while we are up there".. But that didn't work, cause on the night I was going to do it, she wouldn't let me go because it was too late :). So I decided it wouldnt be that big of a deal, I could grab em when we got back to provo... At about 4pm on sunday she starts asking me why I didn't get her flowers and such :), so I'm freaking out, trying to put off the topic til I can get her the flowers that I had SO remembered, but didn't have a good opportunity to get.

So on Monday she stayed home with me ALL day, so I could'nt get them, but on Tuesday I ran to the store and picked her up 25 roses, and distributed them about the room, hence the following pictures:

She's awesome at taking these kind of pictures.

Thats after collecting them.

Random placement is key, it made the room smell like roses, and was cool to look at it.

So yeah, I'm not the worst husband ever :)

I love you kate! Maybe next time I'll just give em to you early!

HOLA Jason! Welcome Home!

Elder Cherry is home!

December 22, 2008 at about 3:35pm a plane landed in the Salt Lake City airport with someone that was coming home aboard. We had been waiting for 2 years to see our cousin, son, grandson, and brother come off that plane having served a full time mission in Tijuana Mexico for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Before We went to the airport everyone had to get ready. When Jason left Kylee and him were best buds. She has changed a lot since he left so we had to make sure she looked cute. :) Kylee and I had a fun little pampering session. :) She is so stinkin' cute!

(Pose!) ha ha!

What a cutie!(Kylee didn't have much hair when Jason left so we had to show off some pretty curls)

After we picked Jason up from the airport, Nick and I decided to stop at Ikia to take look around while we were out that way. :) We found out they have a restaurant there! Maybe we are just WAY behind but we had NO idea! It was about time for dinner so we decided to stop and grab something there! It was SO good! We definitely recommend it!

(we even got a slice of cake to share! Yummy!)

After dinner we went back home and chatted with Jason for a while. Its so fun to have him home, hear all the stories he has to tell, and see how much he has grown from his mission. My little brothers have great examples to follow. I hope they one day will follow the example of their Dad, Uncle, Cousins, and Nick and choose to be called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Welcome Home Jason, and thank you for your hard work and example!
