New Years 2014-2015

New Year, New Adventures.  We got off to a great start!

I may have been the awful Mother that celebrated new years with last years ball drop at 8:30pm...
I'm not saying I was.  I'm just saying I might have been...
but I will Say Mommy & Daddy had a nice quiet night watching Safe Haven, ;)
(Kynsie, Kendra, and Jenessa joined us too!)

out with 2014 and in with 2015!

The firework went off and we happened to catch their genuine personalities perfectly!
Best. Picture. Ever.

The Next Day The girls went out for the first time to enjoy REALLY playing in the snow! :)

Here we go! 2015!

Practice Makes Perfect

Kinley Started tumbling about a year ago.  She couldn't do a cartwheel or much more than a somersault.  after a few months of being in the preschool class her teacher told me she was progressing very quickly and needed to move to a more advanced class.  So, they moved her up.  She is the youngest in the whole group but is doing fantastic! Each class the teacher chooses a star student and they get a couple Starbursts.  Kinley works so hard each week in hopes of being the star student.

Over the Christmas break she came up to me and said, hey Mom, look what I figured out how to do!

She just kept doing back walk over, after back walk over til her body I'm sure felt like Jello! She kept telling me she couldn't give up.  I finally got through to her and helped her understand that taking a little break wasnt giving up. :) It was just resting her body

After the next class she had, she came running out to me with the biggest smile!  She got to be the star student!

She was so excited and told me that she earned it because she didn't give up and kept practicing. :)

Im thankful she has opportunities like this.  She is not only learning so much about coordination, and getting to do what she loves, but she is also learning that hard work and practice pays off. :)

Odds & Ends

Going to Daddy's work is one of the girls favorite things to do. :) Kinley begs to go with him whenever he has to go pick something up.  Might have something to do with the fact that she always gets a drink and Gummy bears :)  Look at that Smile :)

There is just something about them sleeping. :)  No matter how frustrating a day might have been when I see moments like this it makes me feel like even though things are not always perfect I am doing something right. :)

Mila had her first day of Primary! I was a little worried because Kinley was almost 4 when she went into primary but Mila just turned 3.  She is loving it and her teachers say she is doing great!
Its crazy they are both in Primary!  They are growing up so quickly!

Mila got this cute Little Mermaid Bank from Aunt Kira, Uncle Bob, and Braxton for her Birthday.  She LOVES Little Mermaid!  She has been found in this position listening to the songs and watching the lights multiple times since her birthday!

"I have never been a fan of grapefruit" he says... Followed by "holy crap ....this is amazing!!!" ‪#‎flipflopper‬ ‪#‎worsethanjohnkerry‬ ‪#‎butlookatthatsmile‬‪#‎thewifewinsagain‬

Home improvement.  Under the stairs turned storage/mudroom :)
one step closer to getting organized. :)

Tan Tan The Ladies Man

I have a thoughtful brother. This last summer I told him I loved wearing his swim shoes around the house. So, this year in his sports pack he ordered a size smaller on purpose so I could have them....#whatastud #tantheman #sportingthehighschoolgearagain #theyreallyaresocomfy #helikeshashtags #thisisforhim

Moments like this....

This post is out of order but I ran across these pictures I had taken one day at my Moms.  I just happened to look out the window and catch this moment.

Perfection.

that's all.
Just perfection.

Its Christmas!

The Girls didn't know that we were sleeping right outside their door when they woke up they were greeted with the camera!  Opps... forgot to turn off the Flash!  Hahaha!

  Looks like Santa Came!

Mila has a neighborhood friend Named Tember.  Her Mom Had a baby this summer that had a full head of dark hair she also always carries her in a baby front carrier.  Her name is Jersey.  Mila got this sweet little bitty baby and a baby carrier from Santa.  When she saw it  the very first thing she said was "Santa brought me a Jersey!"  It Stuck :) Jersey it is!

After the girls had a look at what Santa brought them, they had another surprise waiting for them.  Mother Nature brought everyone the first Real snow of the Season Christmas Eve, and Christmas morning!

Bet you cannot guess Mila's Favorite gift ;)

We got Grandma Austin to knit these cute Elsa hats to complete their Elsa Dress ups we got them for Christmas. :)  Saying they were thrilled wouldn't even be an accurate description. :)

By 10:30am they were both out cold. :) on our way to Grandmas house :)
