Hoppin' down the bunny trail! The girls had a fun time with Easter this year! Because the majority of our Holiday stuff was in storage and I had less than a desire to go looking through boxes for their Easter baskets we got a couple new ones with new Easter grass to go with it! (side note: the Easter grass we found smelled like marshmallow! It was amazing!) :D Anyway, Next year I really want to grow it with the girls! I think that looked like a lot of fun when I found it on pinterest. :)
The night before Easter, before the girls went to bed we let them open the bag of Easter grass and arrange it in their baskets to leave out for the Easter bunny.
I just have to post these pictures of Mila! She has the greatest facial expressions and each one of these are just all her.
She was "talking" to me. She talks with her hands... I wonder who she gets that from....*cough* ;)
That night sure as the sun rose the Easter Bunny came and left some fun things!
Mila got some Gummy Bunnies and Doc McStuffins Disney figurines!
And Kinley got her M&Ms and Sofia the First Disney figurines!
After seeing what they got we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Austin where they had a little Easter Basket they had put together for each of the grandchildren with more candy and some other fun little toys. Among their favorites was a little Chick that peeps when you hold it. (Its pretty cool! It has some sensors on the bottom that feel the body heat and make the chicks peep. It wont peep just sitting on the floor or counter) They also had an egg hunt set up for them to do out in the front yard.
This girl has a sweet tooth like you wouldn't believe. :)
We got all dressed in our Easter Dresses...and tie for dad. :) and headed up to Provo to go to Church with Grandma, papa, Kylee, Tyler, and Tanner.
After church we went over to Grandma Cherry's to take some pictures and have another Easter egg hunt!
This is how Kinley felt about pictures.... :)
Time for the Easter Egg hunt!
They got quite creative with the hiding spots for some of the eggs! haha!
Mila was so funny! I cannot tell you how many times she picked up this exact same line of eggs! She would pick them up and then run over to show someone and as she ran they just fell out of her basket again... so when she looked down her basket was empty. So off she went to pick them up again!
Nick was complaining about his head getting sunburned... Grandma decided to "help" him out with that! :)
He especially liked the Sunflower!
Oh Grandma! We love you!
Lastly, I know this is a random picture but kinley did get to see the Easter bunny this year with my Mom when they went to the mall! That was another first for her. :)
Hope Everyone had a Happy Easter! We definitely did!!
