Legoland 2012

To wrap up our California Adventure Nick and I decided last minute to take the girls to Legoland.   We had a free day and figured that since we were there we might as well go find something fun to do! :)

I had been one time before when I was an early teen and remembered it being pretty impressive... So, considering Nicks love for CRAZY things that are pretty well unbelievable I was pretty convinced that he would appreciate it!  I also remembered a decent amount of Children's rides scattered throughout the park and A LOT to look at!

Thankfully I thought right and it was a hit with the whole family!

This is pretty much how the day started off with Kinley.  She wanted nothing to do with being happy cooperating :)

Thankfully after a few funnies and getting her in the park on doing a few things she decided life wasnt so bad and started having some fun.

This was one of Nick's favorite things and attention grabbers.  This was one of the first things he saw that was made from Legos.  Nick is 6'0 ish and you can see how he measures up.  Pretty cool that the whole thing is made of nothing but Legos!

Kinley was really enjoying the splash pad....
It was bound to happen... she is her mothers daughter afterall... :)
She didnt even waste a minute!  Jumped right back up and kept playing :)  (the falling thing happened a few more times... again... mothers daughter.  Guilty!  haha)

We spent the whole day at the park.  While Nick was helping Kinley pan for gold.  I had found out that they do Lego man exchanges (similar to the pin trading at Disneyland)  So we each bought one and took it to a booth to pick out one we wanted to trade for.  Nick got a Batman one, I got a cheerleader, Kinley got a Tinkerbell, and Mila got a pirate.

It was a fun way to end our adventure at Legoland.
