Kinley Turns 3!

This is a little blurb that I wrote to my sister and Brother in law who are on missions about her party.  It was a bit of a crazy day....but this explains it short and sweet. :)

Well as we all know Kinley turned 3!  Can you believe it?!  She is getting so big.  This year she has been totally in LOVE with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so that was the theme for her party this year.  Her birthday was this last Saturday. SO, we decided to take her (along with any family that wanted to come) to Kangaroo Zoo.  She loves that place... I mean unlimited bouncing, slides and jumping.  Her Dream world!  She had a ton of fun!  Then we headed to Mom and Dads for Cake and ice cream.  I had kind of a mental break down the morning of her birthday... :)  Here is why.  I was tired.  Had just worked a grave.  Live in the basement.  Not much room.  The girls had made all sorts of messes that morning.  AWESOME mickey mouse clubhouse cake.....Kinley found it.... smashed it..... GAH!!!!  Called mom. Bawling. She told me to just come over to their house to have the party.  That helped.  We ate smashed cake.  Everyone thought it was still delicious. it was. :) Party turned out great. end of story. :)  Hope you enjoyed it.  I had found fun ideas on pinterest that I had fun doing for example,  I made ice cubes out of kool aid and then put it in sprite.  So, it changed the color and flavor of the sprite as the ice melted.  It was pretty much delicious.  She got a TON of stuff.  Almost all Disney and was completely decked out with so much style it was hard to handle by the end of opening her gifts.

Despite the catastrphy of the smashed cake :)  Her party turned out great!  The reason she smashed it is because she had tried to pick it up to take a bite out of it.  When I found it she just said "I'm sorry Mom, but its my birthday. I'm sorry I just want a bite."  LOL!  Oh, Kinley you sure know just what to say! :)

She blew out her cake and then leaned over and took a bite before we even had a chance to explain that she had to wait for us to cut it so everyone could have some.    .... that was her piece. :)

Happy Birthday Kinley girl!  The last 3 years have been some of the best in my life!  You bring me more happiness than I could ever imagine!  Even if you did smash your cute cake! ;)
