Who does Nick like to sleep with? THIS GIRL!
They are sleeping buddies. :)
The other day I was being a little less than patient with Kinley coming into our bed in the middle of the night and practically kicking me out :)
I was telling Nick, and he responded with
"You will get to sleep with me forever, your days of getting to sleep with her are limited"
Nick adores his girls and heaven knows they adore him! I am so blessed to have a husband that wants to be so involved, and is willing to look at parenting with the attitude demonstrated above in what he said to me.
Parenting isn't always (I want to even say ever) easy. Everyday I am one, I grow to appreciate my own parents, and my in laws, and understand more fully why they did the things they did, and am thankful for the effort they put into, and still do put into teaching and raising us to make right decisions, and to be good people.
Parents are often tired, on edge, busy, and lets face it...it kind of makes you a little crazy. But it is really such a blessing, and I love that I have someone to bask in all its wonderful, crazy-house, sleep deprived glory with!

Love, Love, Love this post Katielyn! I Love all your posts but this one really touched me. It reminded me of the time your Dad said something close to what Nick said about letting you kids come in our room as little children...and if we let you, you would want to when you were teenagers. Wise wisdom from our priesthood holders. :)
