When I was a little girl, every year Easter rolled around and even more than the Easter bunny coming I looked forward to the BYU Easter Egg hunts!
The good ol' days when they actually boiled and colored thousands of REAL eggs and hid them among bags filled with jelly beans, malt ball eggs, and all sorts of other Easter candy!
A while back it was discontinued, but this year we got in invitation for Cosmo's first annual Easter Egg Hunt in Lavell Edwards Stadium!
It was not quite what it used to be, but it was fun to let my own kids participate in one of my favorite activities as a child.
This year they had candy as well as plastic eggs with little slips of paper folded up inside them that you would take to redeem for tickets to sporting events, DVDs, T-shirts and all sorts of other fun things. :)
Waiting anxiously for the hunt to start!

Here comes Cosmo!
Cosmo and his friend the Easter Bunny! The Easter Bunny was in the process of doing a back flip and just about broke his neck trying to land it. It was a valiant effort though!
Kinley got a Laffy Taffy and couldnt even wait long enough to get the wrapper off. :)
My sweet little Mila just enjoined the attention she was getting from everyone and being outside. :)
Here is the whole gang afterwords!
So, I was totally jealous of Tanner because he got an autographed picture of Bronco Mendenhall on his eggs slip of paper. I was a little disappointed that in Kinley's egg she just had M& Ms :) I know...I'm a child! However while we were waiting to collect one of the other prizes after all the crowds had left, the cheer leaders were just trying to get rid of what they had left over. Nick was able to snatch a picture for me! Now that is true love! ;) SO, I even got a little take home from the Easter Egg Hunt!
