July 31st 2009 we (the whole Jensen clan) yelled welcome home to a face we had not seen for 2 years.
Zac had been in Sweeden serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

We were all so excited to see him. Rich and Mar (his parents) were able to go pick him up in Sweden, and they were able to go see some sites for 2 weeks before bringing him home. Even though they had been able to see him Jessica, Sam, and Josh still had not. Needless to say, he was pushed back through the terminal doors with hugs the SECOND they saw him come out.
Zac was serving with Elder Killian when he got our wedding invite. Zac proudly displayed it (since he was the one that put the idea of dating me into Nick's head.) :) When his companion looked over and saw the invite he informed Zac that we had been friends during high school! It was a fun little connection. Taylor met Zac at the airport. (It was fun seeing Taylor too, since I have not seen him since we graduated!)
Zac and I have always been pretty close every step of the way through life (literally). We were born just 1 min apart (same day, month, and year). Our family likes to joke about us being in heaven before being born. Mar (Zac's mom) has always said that she could see us both standing at the top of the "eternal slide" (apparently the ride down to earth is a fun one.) She sees us trying to decide who is going to go first, and Zac like a gentleman says, "you go first Katie, and I will follow." then she sees me punching his shoulder and saying "haha sucker!" followed by him jumping in right after to tackle me down. I'm not sure what that says about me haha but I do know that it makes for a funny story we all can laugh at. :)
