Tonight....

...I played Princesses

(For a 3 1/2 year old....she takes some good pictures)
Its been a while since I have been a babysitter but tonight I was reminded of how much fun it can be. I was actually pretty bumed when bedtime came around so dont tell their mom I let them stay up 10 min later than they were supposed to. (**wink**)
After getting all dressed up we had to have a dance...Maili was pretty bothered that she didnt have any dresses that would fit me....so, I got a ribbon!
Fun Fun!

Look Who Is Four

My little Sister, Kylee Jean. Is she really already 4?

Kylee just yesterday......(Kylee Long Legs)

Now...(Kylee on her 4th Birthday with her balloon she got from us.)
I hope she had a great birthday!
We are still trying to find a time for the family party. (so I am sure there will be more pictures soon) Kylee and I cant wait to blow out our candles. **wink**

Side Note: Mom took Kylee to get her 4 year old pictures taken and they turned out adorable!
Here are a few of them.

What a Cute girl!

I love her to pieces, and am SO glad my parents didn't give up on her. It was hard getting her here but she lights up our family with her smile and the cute things that she says and does.

Happy Birthday Little Girl!

Spring Showers

This last week here in Utah has been pretty wet with rain. Nick and I were out running to a few different stores when it stopped raining for just a few seconds. I looked over and this is what I saw! A double rainbow. I LOVE seeing rainbows, and this is the first one I had seen this spring. I know I probably looked pretty funny stopping to take a picture...but I HAD to blog it! ;)

65 Diamonds

Alright, remember back on my birthday post when I told you all that Nick said my gift wouldn't be ready until Thursday?

Last night Nick surprised me with my wedding ring! We originally purchased my engagement ring, and wedding band at Losee Jewelers. When I took our rings to go get cleaned a month ago I found out that they are going out of business, due to the owner being too old to continue. So EVERYTHING was on sale. I told Nick and apparently he took matters into his own hands and upgraded my ring for my birthday by adding 2 platinum diamond studded bands on each side of my engagement ring, making me a 65 diamond woman! Is that better than 8 cows? haha!

I Loved my ring before but I think this added A LOT to it. I had NO idea this is what he was getting done and I LOVE it!

Thanks Nickel, I love you!

New Hobbie

When I was 10 my mom signed my sister (Kynsie) and I up for sewing lessons. We sewed for a few years and got pretty good. Kynsie even made her own baptism dress! After we quit sewing lessons, in our free time we would sew little projects here and there but never really sat down and did too much.

This past Christmas Nick got me a sewing machine! We were in the process of moving and getting our condo remodeled so it stayed in the box.

About a week ago I had some time so I broke it out of the box and have had a BLAST with it since. I worked on this crib quilt the past 2 days and got it finished. (NO THIS IS NOT AN ANNOUNCEMENT!) but I thought it turned out cute so I thought I would post about it.

Many more projects to come! I already have the fabric for the next one!

1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

For the past few months Nick and I have been contemplating the possibility of getting fish tank. Well, Monday morning we bought a freshwater tropical tank. We were going to get salt water tank and recreate Finding Nemo :). We still plan on doing that one of these days but decided that we better practice before we start spending $15.00 on a clown fish.

Tuesday morning we headed down to Jay's Jungle and picked out our first 3 fish. ( you have to get 3 fish at a time (every 4-6 weeks) so they can adjust. We got 3 cherry barbs yesterday and good news they lived the night! I cant wait until we have a full tank of colorful tropic fish!

The tank looks pretty empty, with only 3 little fish, but soon enough it will be full!

We call them Fish 1, Fish 2, and Fish 3. Real original hu?!
