Just Some Odds & Ends

Kinley had her second dentist appointment.  She still wasnt able to get xrays but she did good :)

She is going to have a procedure this week that fills in some deep grooves in her back tooth.  SO, hopefully   she is still smiling like this at her next appointment!

 What a goof!

 ...and another goof!

Mila was having an extra sleepy day I guess because she fell asleep in the cart while at costco. :)

We splurged and got the girls a playhouse and Slide!
Its a start up company in sandy that builds play equipment out of vinyl fencing called
Vinyl Formations! Not only is it kind of  unique (always kinda fun) but we got the set OVER half off! (ALWAYS AWESOME!) :)  They have not gone a day since it was delivered without playing on it.  SO, I am going to go ahead and call it an investment! :)

Kinley and Mila spend more time in princess dresses than their normal clothes :)

Alright, a little backstory (Nick: please love me after posting these pictures!)
I had spent ALL night tossing and turning and getting pushed further and further towards the edge of the bed until I ran out of bed. :)  As I rolled the rest of the way out of bed I looked over to see this.  It put a smile on my face even though it was some early hour of the morning :)
Then I walked around the other side of the bed to find this... :)
then I just had to laugh out loud.  :)
"Let them be little, let them sleep in the middle."

Outside Adventures

The second it started warming up outside that is where the majority of our days have been spent!

Kinley is a pro bike rider!

Mila was determined that she was going to go pro too!

She is still working on the pro part  :)

These girls!  their Smiles!  Nothing has ever brought me more joy in my life! In a world with so much evil, they make it easier to see the good! :)

Alright, I am only getting further and further behind each day I think "I NEED to get caught up" SO, I have decided to just start where I am and do throwbacks here and there to get completely caught up :)  There has been a lot that has happened but I am going to start with today!

Today, I have one happy little girl!  2 years ago we bought Kinley a cheep little Princess bike from Walmart.  She loved that thing.  She asks to go on bike rides on a daily basis (yes, even in the snow)  This last fall we were out riding bikes and her seat kept falling off.  It was a well loved little bike but refer to the above description CHEEP.

After that bike ride, Nick and I decided it was time to take it to DI because lets be honest we were stopped trying to fix it more than we were actually riding.  SO, we did.

We just had not mentioned it to Kinley yet.......

Last night as we were going to bed Kinley was saying how happy she was that it was warm because tomorrow we would go out for a bike ride.  I turned to her and said "Kinley... I need to tell you something..." As soon as I said "Mom and Dad took your bike to DI"  the tears started flowing it was as if I had ripped her heart out right there on the spot.  "But Mom, my bike was just my favorite thing... " she responded with tears just rolling.  It was not a fit, she was just so genuinely sad.  It was killing me. So I talked to Nick and we told Kinley that she could take all the money she had been saving from Christmas and birthdays etc and take it and put it towards a new bike.

Today, we went out looking.  We found a winner at Taylor's Bike shop in Provo.  :)  She saw it, and the man pulled it down from the ceiling for her to try out.  Kynsie and Grandma Cherry were with us and Kynsie was trying to convince her to pick the purple one but she was insistent on the pink one "pink, is just my favorite color!" she would say. :)  When she first saw it she said "Mom!  It has a basket! with a FLOWER!!!!" then she turned to the man and said, "Now, I can put my dog in it! well, my dog is too big." at this point the man I am sure thought we were absolutely crazy.... but she was so excited as she sat down she got a HUGE smile on her face and looked at me as when I heard a little ding.  A bell... could it have been any more perfect? :)

She proudly handed the clerk her money that she had been saving and said "I have been savin' this just for my new bike!"

oh that smile.

Photo Dump - 4th of July

Dad Just Relaxing at the parade
Kylee, Kinley, and Tanner cheering on BYU!
Mila, and her Curls.  I LOVE them!

Alright, I know I said this was a photo Dump but these pictures need a bit of explaining. :)  It was just too cute!  A dance group came through playing the song "girls just wanna have fun"  and were calling for all the girls to come dance. I was trying to help Mila with something and Kinley was BEGGING Nick to take her out to dance.  So, like the great Dad he is... He swallowed his pride and off they went.  He was the ONLY male out there.  But his girl wanted to dance so Dance they did.  By the end there were probably 20 other Dads out there with their daughters.  Way to be a trend Setter! :)  Kinley had the biggest smile when she came back and everyone had a good laugh watching Nick out there busting his moves with all the girls. :)
