Tiny Dancer

When I was 3 I started dance class!  I was a Confidance Kid! see?!
(not the most flattering picture of Kynsie or I but it works!)
A LOT of good memories were made in that garage turned dance Studio!  Yelling for Miss Music to turn on the music before practicing each dance, and waiting to hear the song Red Shoes, Great Balls of Fire, or Animal Crackers in my Soup.
They then turn to remembering the excitement of getting to help lay out the blue and gray mats for tumbling and being able to do a walking backbend the WHOLE length if the mat for the first time and getting to go to dinner with my teacher and a few other girls for winning the backbend balancing competition.

About a year before Kinley was old enough to start dance I saw Denna (my childhood dance teacher) at Sams Club and found out that she was retiring at the end of the season. :(  I am not going to lie.  My heart hurt a little.

My little Sister Kylee has been dancing with Jive Dance Studio and her concerts had been a lot of fun to watch!  Lots of energy and Kylee seemed to love it.

They just had their big 2012-2013 closing concert at the covey center this last May and Nick and I took the girls!  Kinley was in love at first sight!  She had so much fun watching the girls! It was almost all we could do to keep her in her seat and from jumping onto the stage to join them!
The Moment it was over she started asking if she could go to dance class too.
She told us that we could watch her dance in the lights and then we could go buy her a flower just like we had bought for Kylee.

After a day or two more of talking NON STOP about dance class we signed her up!
She is Loving it and I am LOVING to watch her!  Her teachers teach and dance with the same energy that helped create such good childhood memories for me, and I often find my mind wandering back and remembering those good times as I watch my tiny dancer making memories of her own.

Kinleys First Dance class!

The Ketchup Clown

So I washed my Sheets, blankets, and bed spread 2 days before this happened!  Thats right... Less than 48 hours!  This specific morning I was feeling quite caught up in life so I got up and got the girls dressed and ready for the day, made the beds and got Kinley her breakfast that included some sausage with ketchup. I then went to go fill up my water bottle. When I returned roughly 2 minutes later I noticed that Kinleys plate was missing..... I found it... with the Ketchup clown... all over my clean sheets and blankets.  Its amazing how grabbing the camera can defuse a frustrating situation in to a laughable memory!

Mothers Day

I have NEVER in my WHOLE life been more tired than I am now!
I have NEVER in my WHOLE life been more dirty all day long!
I have NEVER in my WHOLE life gone so many days in  row without REALLY getting ready for the day.
I have NEVER in my WHOLE life cried more! Tears of happiness, and frustration both.
I have NEVER in my WHOLE life been more out of shape!
I have NEVER in my WHOLE life had this Messy of a bedroom/house!
I have NEVER in my WHOLE life had to wake up so much and so early!
I have NEVER in my WHOLE life realized how quiet silence really is!
and
I have NEVER in my WHOLE life loved quite like this before.....
Even if this is the best picture I could get with the girls on Mothers day! :)
I wouldnt trade it for the world!

Oh, and I have NEVER EVER EVER in my WHOLE ENTIRE life
appreciated my Mom as much as I do now!
Happy (Post Dedicated to) Mothers Day Mom!
oh, and Happy BIRTHDAY TODAY!
(while that wasnt planned it sure worked out pretty well!)
