Last August multiple things happened causing me to get behind on our family blog. The first was the passing of a very wonderful woman. My Grandma Jensen. She had been fighting cancer for years. Unfortunately treatment was not working and she took a turn for the worse. The cancer put her into liver failure, ultimately causing all organs to shut down. This wonderful woman took my Dad in blindly and gave him everything including a family and the gospel. She shaped my dads life for good and influenced my life with goodness. She fought a very valiant fight , never lost faith, or her contagious smile and laugh as she kept pushing forward determined to give her all to EVERYONE around her as long as she could, and enjoy her life to the fullest. I miss that sweet lady, but will never forget all all of the wonderful memories. She will forever have a special place in my heart. I am blessed to have had her as a part of my life.

Grandma was survived by her Mother. Nana Crowther.
Me and Great Grandma Nana at Grandmas viewing.
She sent us multiple double rainbows. This is the one that will stick with me forever. It was not raining, nor had it been raining but the closer we got to home after her graveside service the brighter it got. If felt like it ended in our backyard.
Days after Grandmas Funeral the next thing happened.
We closed on our new house. :)
and started the moving process!
We are so thankful that we are blessed enough to have a home of our own. However,
thats what did it. It did me in and I have been out of commission as far as the blog has been concerned. There is SO much to do! :)
We are now settled and really have started making improvements, painting, making it feel like our home. Its been wonderful!
Some of the things that I have missed blogging throughout the year....
Mila fell out of the car and cut her head open. She ended up needing stitches. She cheered up, really fast but I will tell you this.... Having to hold her down with my whole body while they stitched listening to her crying "Mommy, please stop" "why?" etc.. was one of the most heart breaking things I have ever done in my life. Glad that's over and done :)
Thanksgiving point farms was one of our favorite places to go! Especially on $2 Tuesdays!
The girls have loved being able to ride the horses/ponies!
Another thing we enjoyed last year was getting to go to Story time at the library!
One day, I couldnt find Mila anywhere then I heard some faint noises and noticed this..... Watching netflix in the hamper... really?!
Valentines day! Daddy brought them home tulips and strawberry gum! Their favorite!
Then we had a "romantic" spaghetti dinner for four with candles and sparkling cider!
after the girls went to Sleep Nick and I broke out the Moncala! He typically beats me to a pulp but its one of our favorite past times! :)
Kinley sleeping in her shades in the car :)
I really need to just learn to say no when they ask for costco pizza, or ice cream in the car... it would result in less car washes... :)
at least we have fun at the carwash!
My little Pirate and witch last year for Halloween getting ready to go trick or treating!
Kinley also found some baby Robbins that were learning to fly. We watched then learn all day long. It was really interesting to watch!
Mila had her first day of Dance class and LOVED it! She is a natural!
We also had fun riding the train up to SLC with Uncle Bob, Aunt Kira, and Braxton!
I sure do love these girls and all the joy and happiness they bring into my life. They have taught me more about love than I could have ever imagined., and continue to teach me on a daily basis. :)
