Elder Grayson Tucker Austin

It was a stormy day in July.  Our dearest Tucker had gotten up early and had been looking out the front window ALL morning long.  Watching for one thing that was going to change his life forever.

Elder Grayson Tucker Austin was called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the Oregon, Eugene Spanish Speaking Mission.

He reported to the MTC in Provo Utah 

on August 29th 2012.

It was so sweet watching him open his call.  His reaction was so genuine.  He said when he got the call out of the mailbox he felt how thin it was and knew he was going to be going state side.  He was disappointed.  However, the moment he read it he just broke down in tears and said it was just too perfect for him.

Nick and Tucker.  He sure is going to miss his little Brother for the next 2 years. 

I just love these two!  I Cannot tell you how fun it has been to have our siblings be so close of friends. Kynsie and Tucker will both be serving Spanish speaking state side missions just a month apart from each other.  They have both been in the MTC now.  Kynsie has 2 weeks left and Tucker has 6.  They have had almost identical schedules in the MTC and both have written home saying it has been such a tender mercy (Tuckers wording) and a blessing (Kynsies) to have each other in the MTC to help them get through.  

I couldn't help but laugh when I looked through the crowd as everyone was congratulating Tucker on his call to see my sweet little girl. :)  Its hard for her to sit still for so long. :)
