B4 and....Sunk!

You might be wondering what this is all about.....well, its Family Home Evening at the Austin home.

Battleship! 

Now, anyone who knows Nick knows that strategy is his middle name, but for some reason I whoop him at battleship!  That is my claim to fame.   As a result, he never wants to play with me!  So, in the 3 years we have been married...we have played 3 times.

I somehow managed to talk him into playing for family home evening this week.  We had a blast...Cough...and I won ALL 3 games, not that I am boasting...alright, I am...a little. ;) 

The reason this is funny is.  I always set my ships up in the exact same pattern and he can NEVER remember.

After we finished the first game, I laughed and asked him, "guess how many times I have beat you with this strategy..." Nick: "Ummm, I don't even want to know! (shaking his head)" Me: "The last 3 times I have played you in battleship!"

Then....I decided I would see how funny I could get...and things just started to get ridiculous...

After guessing all the way across the row and only sinking 1 ship I could see the confusion on Nicks face as he said frustrated, "There is NO POSSIBLE WAY....DID YOU STACK THEM?!"

I just laughed (thankfully he was laughing too) :}. 

We had so much fun!  I sure am glad I found someone that will put up with me, and my games!
