Well, I found all the pictures from Nicks Birthday!
My Mom made Nick a breakfast casserole and brought it over the night before so he could have his favorite breakfast the next morning. His 3 favorite days of the year are Christmas morning, and the Sunday morning sessions of General Conference. Not because he likes Christmas, or conference though. Just because my Mom makes breakfast casserole. :D
The Next Evening we had a little party. :) Since the theme is typically "30 sucks" I thought I would do with "30 doesn't have to suck" :)
Nicks Favorite treat is lemon meringue pie. However, pie crusts are NOT my forte. SO, I tried something new... Oh. my. gosh. They were beautiful, and tasted SO good.

As Nick was waiting for the sparklers to finish burning, Alex couldnt figure out why he wasnt blowing out his "candles" and took matters into his own hands.
After a quick "shower"... Nick happily handed him the cupcake after that. :) hahaha!

We had a free day so we all (the girls and I, Mom, Grandma Cherry, Kylee, and Tanner) packed up a few snacks for the kids,went up to Salt Lake, and decided to make a day of it. :)
We started off at City Creek. Tanner was not so sure about spending all day with us girls, but he left the mall with some new pants and shirts so I don't think it was too bad. ;)

They just adore their Great Grandma Cherry! I'm SO glad they are able to have such a close relationship with her, as I did growing up.
After shopping we were already ready for lunch. So we stopped by the Cheesecake Factory!

Kinley and Kylee loved the Cheesecake! We ordered a blueberry one, and my personal favorite, the lemon meringue cheesecake to share!
After we were done eating we headed over to see all the pretty flowers at Temple Square and go watch Meet the Mormons. (Super good, if you have not seen it, highly recommend going/watching.)
You know, its true. Life is busy but, I honestly believe that time spent with those you love is ALWAYS time well spent.

The girl grew out of her favorite dress and it was barely acceptable as a shirt let alone a dress. She was distraught. I had all her dresses out on her bed for her to pick one but she was refusing them all! Captian Dad came to the rescue playing the voice of Tiggie Lilly (her favorite furry friend) asking if she could have and wear her pretty black dress :) . Mila agreed and then asked "her" opinion on what other dress she should wear! Seriously, what would I do without him?! Dad of the win!

Holy Mother of all Guilt! After getting after Mila to stop fighting with Kinley in the car I looked back to find her asleep with a single tear still on her eye!
...oh you know, just doing wall squats during sacrament meeting.... *cough*

AND, this is how we have to end Every day! By the end of the day most days its hard to find a clean spot on their body. Nothing a good bubble bath cannot take care of! :D
