Sunday Game-O-Ball

On Mothers day after eating dinner while all the adults were inside talking (yes, I consider us "kids" still) all the kids decided to start up a game of ball out in the front yard. We had a lot of fun together. I think Nick even overcame his fear of baseball after striking out of t-ball when he was 3. :)Nick Hitting the ball with Matthew pitching

Kylee even got in the game. After a little help from Jason.

Good form Jenessa!

We had a lot of fun! PLAY BALL!

My Best Friends Wedding/100th Post!

There are friends that come and go and then there are the friends you will never forget no matter where life takes you because of the impact they have made in your life. Melisa moved in when we were 14 and we have been best friends since day 1. Literally day one. The first day we met we had a sleepover. How did she convince her parents to let her have a sleepover at a strangers house you're wondering? Well, we still wonder that too.

Melisa has been there for me through thick and thin, and through all the fun times. I know she is there for me. Melisa got married Saturday May 9, 2009 in the Manti temple to Everton. She asked Nick and I to join the family at the temple. It was such a neat experience, and a beautiful day for a wedding.

Nick and I are SO excited for this summer while they are living just a few blocks away. We hope to get together with them often!

Melisa and Everton coming out of the temple

Melisa and Everton met down at Snow College 2 years ago. Everton is from Brazil and was on the mens basketball team, and Melisa was on the womans basketball team. They started dating. Everton joined the church March 2008 and they were married a year later. (obviously) :D

Melisa and I outside the temple

Nick and I outside the Manti Temple. Its the best feeling in the world to be married to the right person, at the right time, in the right place.

P.S. I think this is a good entry for my 100TH POST!

Precious Moments

We played on the tramp, and swings while the men were laying mom and dad's new carpet and after a long day Alex laid down on my chest and well....he is such a cutie. :) I wouldn't give up these moments for the world.

Did I Do That?!

I have done it! I made the IRREVERSIBLE mistake!

I have been cutting Nicks hair since we got married and it has gone perfectly. Each time I do it I get a little bit better, and a little bit faster.

After finishing Nick's hair yesterday I asked him to go look at it and tell me if he could see anything that needed to be fixed. He asked me to fix a small area on the side of his head where we noticed I had missed a few hairs. So, I pulled out the clippers and trimmed it, and boy howdy did I trim it good. oops...

No guard, its a good thing he looks good in a hat! (Thats what he gets for complaining right?) Its a good thing he loves me hu! I think I would have cried if it was the other way around but he was so good as he looked in the mirror and just started to laugh. we laughed til we were pretty much crying. This is definitely an experience we will NEVER forget.

PS When you fall off the horse you get right back on. After telling him this was the last time I cut his hair he just shook his head. In 2 weeks I will be trimming his hair again, after the bald spot has hopefully grown in a little. Ha Ha!

Sunshine, and Springtime

That means its time for FLOWERS! I absolutely love spring and summer. I Love being outside and seeing everything going on around.

This Monday I was looking at our bland porch and decided it was time to do some decorating outside now that its getting warm so I got out the broom and swept, and then off to lowes I went.

I bought a few marigolds and a package full of daisy seeds! Right now it looks kind of bland but I am SOOO excited for the daisy to come out in the next 14 days. They are my favorite flower.

Makayla Sue Tucker

Last weekend Nick and I took the long drive out to Gunnison Utah to watch Nicks Uncle Bill bless the newest member of the Tucker Family.

Mikayla Sue Tucker

Mikayla Was born in March 2009 to Amy and Bill. She is such a doll! It was the first time we had seen her. She looks just like her mom and all her brothers and sisters.(I think anyway!)

WHY?!

I am sick of people, politics, and dumb policies!
Do you guys ever feel like this?!
Today has been one of those days!!!
Tomorrow is a new day I suppose.

I think its time to go home, eat a family size bag of salt and vinegar chips, and go to bed at 7.
