Its Christmas!

The Girls didn't know that we were sleeping right outside their door when they woke up they were greeted with the camera!  Opps... forgot to turn off the Flash!  Hahaha!

  Looks like Santa Came!

Mila has a neighborhood friend Named Tember.  Her Mom Had a baby this summer that had a full head of dark hair she also always carries her in a baby front carrier.  Her name is Jersey.  Mila got this sweet little bitty baby and a baby carrier from Santa.  When she saw it  the very first thing she said was "Santa brought me a Jersey!"  It Stuck :) Jersey it is!

After the girls had a look at what Santa brought them, they had another surprise waiting for them.  Mother Nature brought everyone the first Real snow of the Season Christmas Eve, and Christmas morning!

Bet you cannot guess Mila's Favorite gift ;)

We got Grandma Austin to knit these cute Elsa hats to complete their Elsa Dress ups we got them for Christmas. :)  Saying they were thrilled wouldn't even be an accurate description. :)

By 10:30am they were both out cold. :) on our way to Grandmas house :)

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve Day I had to work but Dad took care of the fun. :)  Dad and the girls sprinkled Reindeer food on the roof.  They added sparkles so the reindeer could see it from the sky.

Later that night after I got home from work we headed over to Uncle Scott and Aunt Susie's house for dinner.  I had to work again that night (BUMMER)  so we had to skip out early before games but the before we left we made sure to let them open their Christmas Eve gift.  They each got new Pajamas, and a fuzzy robe.
Then the best part of the Night.  The Pajamas they got were 3 piece pjs. Long pants, a shirt, and a pair of shorts. Uncle Scott convinced Kinley that the shorts were a hat.  Naturally Mila followed and put her shorts on hear head. Everyone got a good laugh at it and the shorts stayed on their heads til they fell asleep. :)

That night after I finished my shift.  Nick and I got all set up for the night.... on pillow beds right outside their bedroom door! :)

And to all a GOOD NIGHT!

Other Activities Leading up to Christmas

This year Nick was off for over a Month on paid vacation.  We had a lot of plans.  Then, well, we all got sick....and just kept passing it around.   Nick also had his nerves burned in his back and that ended up being a little harder on him than expected.  We may not have accomplished all our BIG plans while he was off however, we all did end up finding time to do all the little things.

Mila made the cutest little gingerbread house

We were all able to go watch Kinley perform in her Preschool Program!
She did a great job.  Its almost February and she is still singing Mele Kalikimaka!

We went to the BYU Christmas Party where we got to Make a Christmas craft, listen to Christmas performers, while eating donuts and drinking juice, Play some games, and last of all and most exciting... see Santa!

Braxton was not so sure about the big man in the suit :)

Here are the girls on Christmas Sunday!
Kinley asked for pretty curls. :)  Perfect curls for a perfect little girl! :)

The Adobe Party was a bust this year. Anyone who was not interested in drinking and then drunk dancing at the club had left by 8:00pm.
These girls made me laugh though :)
the Angel had sparkling cider and the devil had champagne.

Well, rather than calling it a night we decided to make a night out of it. So we walked up to temple Square to see the lights and celebrate our anniversary a week early. :)

We all had a lot of fun this year, and it was AWESOME having Nick home this whole season!
