Playing in the Water

This Tuesday was HOT.  So, Kinley and I went over to Grandmas to play with Kylee in the sprinklers and jump on the tramp with the sprinklers under.  She had a blast, and played for a good 2 1/2 - 3 hours! (That is a LONG time for her!)

This is just a preview.  I will get a video up soon.  It was TOO cute!

I just have one thing to say about this....

My nephew has one of the cutest little smiles I have EVER seen!  How can this not just melt your heart?
Seriously?!

Cherry Hill Park

Last weekend Nick decided to take Kinley to the park.  They were getting ready to go just as I walked in the door from being at a bridal shower. Once you say outside, or park, or walk, or okay to any of the above when she asks she cannot get it out of her head.  So, off to the park we all went.  We decided to go to Cherry Hill Park (SO much shade, its awesome on a hot day!).

We tried to show her how to roll down the hills. she thought it was fun but once we stopped helping her roll she couldn't quite do it herself (darn feet that keep getting in the way! haha)

She did decide that it was fun to slide down on her rear end and say "weee" though. :)
Then we played on the slides!
and the baby swings (another great thing about Cherry Hill Park vs others)
However, after watching Mom and Dad swing on the big kid swings she had to give it a try too. She actually held her balance, but was always in arms reach if she lost it.

Peek A Boo!

Build - A - Bear

A few weeks ago one of my friends went to Build- A- Bear to get a bear as a birthday gift for a family friend.  Kinley and I had a coupon so we went with her. Kinley made a cute little Puppy.  :)  She had gone with Nick one other time and she LOVES it.  She can hardly contain herself with so many cute stuffed animals to kiss and play with.

She had fun brushing her puppy after it was all stuffed and sewn up. :) She would step on the foot peddle that made a bunch of air blow out and say, "Wow, whats that?"  It was cute!

Everything but the kitchen sink

A few weeks ago our downstairs neighbors were having water flood into their condo.  We had not had any leaks or anything but we still ended up pulling out our toilet, bathtub fixtures, and everything else that uses water to make sure it wasn't us (and avoid the $900 bill they were trying to give to us for living above them) :)  Thankfully, we everything was dry as dry can be.  During the whole thing though we didn't have a bathtub to use... so, this was a first for Kinley.   She was REALLY confused at first, but started enjoying it (maybe a little too much ) after a few moments of playing.  With all the water splashing out of the kitchen sink maybe we should have claimed the bill for flooding the neighbors. ;)

Great Grandpa's Raspberries

Kinley got her first taste of Freshly grown Raspberries over at Great Grandpa Austin's house this Thursday!  She was a HUGE fan, and LOVED getting to pull them off the bushes and put them in her mouth herself. :)

She just kept saying "mmmm" and then finding another one to pick. :)

"please guld?"

Kinley LOVES LOVES LOVES This Movie!  I mean, who can blame her? But, seriously! Its all she wants to do!
One Morning at 2am I was working my grave yard shift.  She had woken up so I took her into Nick and put her in bed with him.  Normally she will go right back to sleep when she gets into our bed.  Well, I could hear her just talking and talking then there was silence.  I thought, great she fell asleep.  Then I heard her little footie pjs walking through the kitchen to the living room.  She looked at me and said. "Hi".  I said, "Hi" Then she held up the tangled DVD case and said, "Please? 'guld?" How could any Mom say no with such good manners? ;)

So we spent some Mother Daughter time together watching "guld" together at 3am.  After about an hour of the movie I took her in and she went willingly to sleep in her own bed.

Often times this happens.
Its kind of nice because she normally isn't much of a cuddler.
And now when Kylee comes over watching Tangled in bed is kind of a tradition. :)

Its so fun to watch her copy everything that is happening (sometimes before it happens) Such as, sneezing when the castle guard does, and pointing to her elbow when they are singing I have a dream and the line "something here that oozes" comes up.  AND, I dont let her watch it ALL the time, but it sure makes for a good little break for mom to get a few things done, outside of what I can get done when she is down for a nap :)
