Trip to the Park

We are lucky enough to live very close to a few different parks.
As we were walking over to Grandview park, Kylee, and Tanner saw us, and begged to come along so we took them over with us to play and fly Nicks plane.

Kylee and Kinley loved playing at the park while Nick and Tanner played with the model plane.

Here are a few..okay..a bunch...of pictures :)
We always have way to much fun when we go do things like this!

"Mr Sun, Sun. Mr Golden Sun...

...PLEASE shine down on me!"

Kinley LOVES swinging, and playing outside. Now that its warming up a little, we are taking advantage of the sun, and going out to play whenever we can.  Even if its still a little chilly we throw on a jacket and hat.

"Upgrade Complete"

Happy 26th Birthday Nick! This year Nick turned an age that he isn't too thrilled about. :)  26.  Why isn't he thrilled.... He is closer to 30 than to 20 now! Haha!  So, since he is feeling "old"  I wanted to do something to make him feel better about himself.

SO, I decided to make his cake with the theme of one of his favorite computer games.  Starcraft 2.  It was hilarious when I went to go get his name written on the cake the guy writing on it said... "Do you know how old the person is that you are getting this cake for is going to be?" I said, "yes, he is turning 26."  Baker Man" Oh..............well....maybe I should use the dark blue icing then....its a little more manly..."  HAHA!  I am still laughing about that.  when Nick walked in the door he wasn't expecting anything special, but I had colored plates, a whole bunch of colored balloons, the cake, a bowel of M&Ms and a few other ridiculous things resembling the party of what you would thing would be for a 6 year old boy.  He just started laughing, feeling SO embarrassed. I then told him that in about 30 min all of our family would be here to have cake and ice cream! He then said kind of giggling " so everyone is going to see this? I feel like such a child!"  HAHAHA!  I felt so accomplished.

He got into it, and even put on his Startcraft 2 tshirt for themes sake!
 It was a great night!
Happy Birthday to my 26 year old Man cub still a child at heart! :)

St Patty Day Dinner

I know this is out of order, and just a little late But, for St. Patrick's Day this year, I decided to make everything we had for dinner green!  It all looks absolutely DISGUSTING except the Jello,  and koolaid
but it actually tasted pretty yummy! :)

A Little Girl Time

A few of the girls on my team at Novell have decided that we need a little girl time together. So, we decided we would get our crafting on!  We meet on the first Saturday of each month and make something cute!  Each month someone different is in charge of finding a project and bringing a light lunch for everyone. Each person goes out individually before that Saturday to find their own supplies and materials they want to use and then we all meet together and learn how to do it.
Holly making her flowers
(Kynsie, Britni, Rowynne, Meygen, and Rosemary)
So far we have made wreaths and scarfs.
My wreath turned out super cute (I think) :)
and well, lets just say that crocheting isnt one of my strongest skills :)  But it was still fun to try!  Cannot wait to see what we will be making this month!
Oh, and I am incharge of June so if any of you crafty friends out there have some good ideas send em my way!

Easter Morning 2011.MPG

Sorry about turning the camera sideways halfway through...I was obviously not thinking too hard! :)

Here Comes Peter Cottontail!

Happy Easter Everyone! (2 days ago) :)

This year was our second Easter with Kinley!  Last year was fun...but,  she was just too little to get into it! Rather she just had to put up with me putting funny rabbit hats on her :)
WHAT A DIFFERENCE JUST ONE YEAR MAKES!!
She had a blast this Easter, and we had the time of our lives watching her!

We went and got her our of her Crib and she ran straight to her basket and just kept saying "Wow!"
Our Marshmallow addicted little girl was one happy camper when she saw that the Easter Bunny brought her some marshmallows shaped like rabbits, and that was the first thing she went for!
She also LOVED finding all the Easter eggs hidden around her playroom!
She got some more inside bubbles to play with!
Easter Morning (Yay, for no make up, and morning hair)
Can you tell how much she wanted to be taking a picture with me at that moment? ;)
Finding Easter eggs all over the place!
Later after church we went over to participate in a little Easter egg hunt Kylee invited us to. Where she got to find even more eggs!
We finished the day off with a nice Easter dinner at the Austins.  (I forgot the camera for that part..darn it)
Hope everyone else had as "Hoppy" of an Easter as we did!
