Strike!!

....or in my case lack of... :) Its definitely been a while since I have been bowling I am going to have to brush up on my skills! Nick took some time off work today to go do something fun with me. We decided to go bowling. We went with the intent of playing 1 game...that 1 game quickly turned into 3...we had to cut ourselves off before we had to take out a loan with fat cats! ;)

We had a blast!
We were getting the funniest facial expressions out of this girl! She was happy and babbling the whole 3 games!

Growing

Remember when just 4 short months ago my little girl looked like this...Tiny even in her bassinet.

Now in her crib she looks like this.....

I would be okay with time slowing down...just a little! :)

Happy 25th Mom & Dad

This year on June 7th my parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. In April Kynsie and I decided that we should invite the neighborhood and family over and have a BBQ for them that weekend.

However, we knew Mom wouldn't go for it, so we tricked her into it. We planned the whole thing and mailed out the invitations. Among the invites that we mailed out was one for my parents. :) We thought we were cleaver.

Congrats Dad & Mom on a great 25 years~You're a great example to Nick & I (and I am sure to MANY others) of what it takes to be an eternal family!

Dad & Mom's Wedding colors were Pink and White, but since it was their silver anniversary we had to get a little silver in there too!

I love it when kids loose their teeth and have those cute little toothless smiles! I think that's their cutest phase!

Gotta Love them.
Tanner & Morgan
Aunt Susie & Sister Williams
Sister Hunter & Mom
The Hunters moved in across the road from us when I was in 8th grade. Mom and Adrian have been best friends since! Its nice also because they have kids the same ages as my siblings so they have someone to play with all the time!

Kylee and Meygan
Brother & Sister Law
Tyler listening to Dad tell a story about Youth Conference (They got home about 40 min before the party started! Glad they made it home in time!)
Grandpa Jensen, Kendra, and Dad
Geri & Mom
Geri is another one of Moms best friends from High School. Fun that they can all still get together!
Jeff & Kathy Lee Garrett
As soon as the sun went down we threw a sheet over the side of the roof and pulled out the projector and put Blind Side on out in the back yard. At the end of the movie when we turned on the back porch light this is what we found....
Tanner & Kylee were zonked.
We had a great night! As always there is nothing better than getting together with family and friends! :)

Splish Splash...

Kinley was takin' a bath!

This is the reaction I get from Kinley everytime I get her out of the bathtub. She loves being all wrapped up in her towel, but to avoid possible messes I can only leave her that way long enough to get a picture before I have to pry the towel out of her hands to put her diaper on.

Believe it or not...

This bouncy chair was made by MY grandma, and used to be my Moms. It has gone through her, all 6 of us kids, and now its on its way through her grandchildren....Now that is some serious quality! Not to mention the hamburger, doesn't get better than that!

22? Really?

Alright, reality check...

*I am married to a wonderful man.
*I have a beautiful baby girl.
*I pay a mortgage EVERY month.
*I have had a "REAL" job for going on 4 years with the same company.
*I have a side business that I run.
*I am 11 classes from finishing my bachelors degree.
*I am having my 5 year high school reunion next year.
*I just turned 22 years old.

Where in the world has time gone?
The other day I saw a very familiar yellow truck driving down the road past me when I was on my way to my parents house. As I pulled into the driveway I turned around to see that truck had met me there. In the truck there was the very familiar face of Mr Rowley, my 3rd grade teacher from Grandview Elementary. It doesn't seem that long ago that I was sitting in his classroom learning about Jonny Appleseed pealing apples with the apple corer. He very lovingly told me that he hoped I had a good birthday but he was a little disappointed that I had not blogged it yet...so, this is for you! :)
My day started out going to work. I walked over to my desk to find this... Holly had decorated my desk with streamers, balloons, a happy birthday sign and all sorts of other fun things.
Later, Jana (My boss) brought in angel food cake and fresh Strawberries (my favorite! Yum!) to share with the team.
When I got home Nick took me over to 26.2 Running where they put me on a treadmill to do some tests to find the perfect pair of running shoes for me. Found em! The ASICS GEL-Nimbus 12. My last pair of running shoes were about 4 1/2 years old so it was about time I get some new ones. When we got home he also surprised me with an armband case for my ipod touch and some running clothes. Now I can loose this baby weight with style! Whoohoo! ;)
After, Nick took me to dinner at El Ezteca! I Love that place even though its an old dump now...it used to be a great sit down restaurant! Its been my favorite since I can remember! Their cheese enchiladas and pico de guio are to die for!

So, we grabbed the food to go, and headed over for a quick stop at YoZone where we got some frozen yogurt. We took it all home, got Kinley in her Pjs put her to bed. (She was a little fussy still from her shots the day before.)
Then, to end the night we watched Bedtime Story while eating.
Unexpectedly at about 10:00pm there was a knock at our door it was Kynsie standing there with these!I LOVE getting Birthday balloons!

It was a really fun relaxed day and evening!
Thanks Everyone for all the birthday wishes!

4 Month Stats

Kinley had her 4 month old check up June 3rd.
Her stats are:
Weight: 15.7lbs (78 %tile)
Height: 25.5 in. ( 89%tile)
I think its safe to say she is healthy and growing!
She also got her 4month old shots poor thing...but as a reward for doing so well with her shot she got to have...Drum Roll please........
her first taste of cereal! She loved it! We didn't get any funny faces or anything! However, we did get a good laugh at how messy she is when she eats, and I must say, I have NEVER heard someone smack their lips like she does. :)

Kinley's messy face
(Note to self: keep a washcloth close!)
All Done! Yum!
She has now had rice cereal, sweet potatoes, and today she had Bananas! I think she is going to be a fruits girl...It took her 2 days to get through a jar of sweet potatoes and about 10 minuets to down the bananas. :) But then again, who doesn't love the baby food fruit?! ;)
