I Looked In The Bedroom & What Did I See....

Kinley trying real hard to have a conversation with her Daddy.....

Today while I was out cleaning the kitchen Nick was back in our room changing and keeping Kinley entertained.
I could hear her just babbling, talking, and, squealing back there for about 45 min, so I decided to go check it out, and see what Nick was doing that was making her SO happy.....didn't expect what I found.

Sure is cute though!

I went in and picked her up and said. "Hi Sweetheart, did Daddy fall asleep on you?"
and she smiled the biggest smile at me. (first time she has done that!) It was so cute.
Personally I think she was relieved someone was finally talking back to her she couldn't help but smile!

Sitttin' Pretty

After a few days of having an upset tummy we finally took Kinley into the doctor to see if anything was going on other than just being fussy.

** Side Note: At the doctor they weighed her. 7 Weeks old - Weighing in at 11 lbs! **

Thank heaven it looks like everything is fine, she just has colic. :( Poor thing. (and poor us...) haha!

We were given a few different things to try for her.
- Gripe Water (Liquid herbs that makes it so she gets less gas bubbles in her tummy)
-An acid blocker
and
-Some soy milk formula

We tried the Gripe Water first. I didn't want to try the soy milk for fear of it working and finding out she was allergic to cow's milk.

As soon as I gave her the bottle with the Gripe Water, she calmed right down and I found her sleeping soundly for the first time in 3 days! I was SO happy!
I am SO glad she is feeling better!

Although I am not a huge fan and believer in herbs....Its true what they say......
Gripe Water = Liquid Gold!

Strike a Pose

There she was just laying there Snoozing...I couldn't help myself....I HAD to go get the camera.

**Flash**
Kinley: "Not the camera AGAIN!"
Mom: "Yup, too bad, you're too cute!"

Kinley: "Alright, I will cooperate, and give you a few good glamor shots."

Kinley: "I call this one Serious face with big beautiful eyes."
Kinley: "This is my pouty face."
Kinley: "Now, I will blow a big kiss to all my fans!"Hope you're all having a good day!

Growing like a Weed

Kinley is growing so fast! Its so hard to believe that she is going to be a month old this upcoming Tuesday! This morning after her bath I was getting her dressed and she is fitting into her 0-3 month old clothes now! She is 8.5 lbs now!

Here she is in her very first 0-3 Month old outfit!

LOVIN' the Tub

Just a week after we brought Kinley home her cord fell off and we were able to start giving her baths in the TUB! It not only is easier on me to bath her but she LOVES her baths :)

By the end of her bath, she was Zonked!

Cravings

I forgot to blog this before the baby was born, but I dont want to forget it! :)

While I was pregnant with Kinley I didn't have too many cravings but every now and then I would want something specific. Just a few days before Kinley was born I sent Nick (who was out getting a few things done) a text that said, "I want cake". About an hour later Nick walked in the door and handed me this......
It made me laugh SO hard! I loved it! From what he said it made the bakers day too! :) I am so glad I have a husband that makes me laugh everyday!
