1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

For the past few months Nick and I have been contemplating the possibility of getting fish tank. Well, Monday morning we bought a freshwater tropical tank. We were going to get salt water tank and recreate Finding Nemo :). We still plan on doing that one of these days but decided that we better practice before we start spending $15.00 on a clown fish.

Tuesday morning we headed down to Jay's Jungle and picked out our first 3 fish. ( you have to get 3 fish at a time (every 4-6 weeks) so they can adjust. We got 3 cherry barbs yesterday and good news they lived the night! I cant wait until we have a full tank of colorful tropic fish!

The tank looks pretty empty, with only 3 little fish, but soon enough it will be full!

We call them Fish 1, Fish 2, and Fish 3. Real original hu?!

Graduation Party

Last weekend Nick's family had a graduation party for the 5 cousins that all graduated this year! EVERYONE came and we had a blast! We fired up the grill and the firepit, had homemade rootbeer and a yummy cake.

(Chris with the graduation cake)

Mom decided out of all the activities she could choose from to keep the kids and boys entertained this one would be the best...

A DUNKING MACHINE!
Bobby winding up to hit Chris...
The results are in.....

Everyone had a blast with it. Small and old, the people throwing the balls and the people sitting on the wooden plank.

No better way to congratulate a high school grad!

Not Another Bath

Nick and I have had Samba now for about a year and 4 months. She is the most hyper puppy you will EVER see in your life and we LOVE it. There is one thing that will make her put her ears down and her tail between her legs though and she gets them about every 2 weeks....thats a BATH!
Nick and Samba spending some quality time together. haha.

She doesn't like her baths, but it keeps my house clean!

A Very Happy Birthday To ME!

Yesterday was my 21st Birthday. It was great. I had to go to work because I have been attending a training class. However, 4pm hit and I was out to have fun. I went over to my parents and thanked my mom for giving birth to me so I could have a birthday, and my dad asked me when we were going to go get our first drink together (yeah right!). Kylee and I decided to have a combined birthday party since our birthdays are only a few days apart. (We are thinking Dora themed. Expect and invite! **wink**)

Nick surprised me by coming home an hour early from work with a cheesecake for me. :) haha. I also had gotten to go out earlier in the week and get a whole bunch of new summer clothes for my birthday. (BEST gift EVER, from the BEST husband EVER!)

He says there is one more thing that he is expecting to arrive on Tuesday.....so, I guess we will all have to wait and see what it is! (Cant wait...)

We ended the night with a trip to my favorite Mexican restaurant El EsTeca. Yum!

I was getting calls and texts from family and friends all day long wishing me a happy birthday! Its great to feel loved!

Thanks again everyone for making my birthday a special day!

Play Ball

"Take me out to the ball game,

Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,

I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."

Tanner is on the team Cubs and is a great player. You should see him hit that ball! Dad is an assistant coach on the team. They are having a lot of fun. I would love to have a brother play baseball so I can go watch all the games.
Keep it up buddy!

Congrats Provo Grad

Friday May 29, 2009 Kynsie McKell Rife was called over the loud speaker as she graduated from Provo High School!

(Kynsie right after graduation. she wasn't all that thrilled to have a camera already in her face. But this is all I got of her alone sooo now she has to deal with everyone seeing it! teach her to not smile right?! haha)

Kynsie participated in A LOT during high school. Volleyball, tennis, choir (including PHS singers!), band, National Honor Society, and she was also the Student Body Secretary her senior year.

Kynsie will be going to Europe this summer for Music, and then be returning and continuing her education at BYU. She isnt sure what she is going to be when she grows up yet, so only time will tell but she is going to be great at whatever she decides to do, that I know for sure!

Annalisa and Kynsie after graduating.
(These two girls have been best of friends since elementary school!)

Kenz and Kyns

When your the best of Friends
(Annalisa, Kynsie, and Kenzie)

Matthew was very emotional about the whole thing, or a bug flew in his eye...you decide.
**wink**

When I lived at home Kynsie and I shared a bathroom and lived in the basement together. We had a lot of GREAT times together. When she Turned 14 I got her a wooden plaque that hangs in our bathroom that says, "I smile because you're my sister, and I LAUGH because there is NOTHING you can do about it."

Kynsie did more than enough complaining to me about how I set the bar too high, got too good of grades etc. and she was NEVER going to be able to do that.....well....frankly....she achieved FAR more than I did in high school, not that it was a surprise or anything. She has always been smart and talented.

Kynsie and Kate

I hope all my sisters can blow me out of the water and meet the goals they set.
(Kendra, Kynsie, Kate, and Kylee)

This really isn't our best picture, and the sun was in our eyes but we were and still are thrilled for Kynsie and pleased with all the things she has accomplished!

Congrats Kynsie! We love you girlie!
