Mila turns 4

Mila turned 4 this year.  My life with her in it is so happy.  From the moment we found out about her she has been full of surprises.  From being born 3 weeks early, to coming up to our bedroom completely covered head to toe in flour.  She definitely is keeping me on my toes but her smile makes EVERYTHING worth it. 

What a sweet heart she has. 

Birthday girl favorites- 

Favorite color(s)- purple, and blue

Favorite food - "Pasketi" (spaghetti)

Favorite friend -  Kinley.  (I am being honest, and I love it)

Favorite thing to do - play dress up and anything pretend

Favorite item - lip gloss, lip stick, finger nail polish, makeup. 

(she is ALL girl!)

Mila Loves to sleep with as many blankets and stuffies she can get in bed with her.  When she wakes up in the middle of the night... she brings them ALL to our bed.

LOVES to snuggle.

 Mila had been asking for lala loopsie tinys for months.  She likes filling her pockets with little dolls, and figures to take with her everywhere so she always has something to play with.  These are the perfect size for that.  Kinley saved some of her money to buy them for her!  She was so excited to give them to her and Mila gave her a great reaction! :) 

Happy Birthday Miss Mila.  You are perfect just being you. 

Carving Pumpkins and Halloween

This last fall the craziest thing happened.  We had a pumpkin plant grow in our front flower beds.  It grew all over our front step.  We had quite a few pumpkin starts but only one lived and grew.  It made a great Jack-o-lantern though! 

I LOVE the faces that go along with kids touching pumpkin guts!  Mila is one that likes to stay clean so she is always so funny!

We also had fun this fall at the corn maze! 

He really is the best Dad.  This guy puts his girls (including me), and our comfort ahead of any of his needs willingly.

Kinley asked to be a bunny for Halloween months before I would have even started thinking about a costume. I posted online asking if anyone knew where I could get a costume, or for any ideas.  One of Tylers converts that I have become friends with ALL the way from England....thats right ENGLAND crochet and sent these cute hats and tails to the girls.  She definitely brought smiles to a lot of faces, and made the biggest little dreams come true! Thank you Caroline, that was truly the sweetest thing!

Mila Goes to Preschool (year 1)

Just a week after Kinley broke my Mom heart by growing up and going to Kindergarten, Mila up and left me too. 

its also been 9 months since this happened. 

IM NOT OKAY WITH ALL THIS, and they just wont listen. 

:) 

"We have to grow up Mom"  they say.

Mila was SO excited to FINALLY be in Mrs Heather's class like Kinley was! 

and she really is the best so I don't blame her one bit! :) 

so naturally after I dropped off the 2 things that I had completely dedicated my life to for the last 6 years i was not quite sure what to do with myself and was feeling a little sad. 

so... we ate donuts. 

the good news is..... since i'm 9 months late posting this I can happily report I survived, and so have they.
